Terms & Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) digital platform, operated under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

By accessing or using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms.

The SKEA platform operates in accordance with the laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Purpose of the Platform

The SKEA platform provides a digital interface for organizations and individuals to apply, participate, and engage with the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award.

The platform facilitates application submission, nominations of the applicants, assessment coordination, communication with applicants, and communication of relevant program materials.

Account Registration and User Responsibilities

Users must create an account to access the platform’s services.

The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and ensuring the accuracy of information provided.

Misrepresentation of information, identity, or credentials will lead to disqualification and possible legal action.

Users must immediately notify SKEA Support of any unauthorized access or suspected security breach.

Use of the Platform

The platform shall be used only for lawful and authorized purposes related to SKEA participation.

Users agree not to: Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information, interfere with the functionality or integrity of the platform, attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts, or post or upload any material that is defamatory, obscene, or violates UAE laws.

The SKEA Office reserves the right to monitor usage and suspend or terminate access if misuse is detected.

Submission of Applications

By submitting an application, the user confirms that all information provided is true, complete, and verifiable.

SKEA reserves the right to request supporting documentation or clarification at any stage.

Submission of an application does not guarantee selection or award recognition.

Late or incomplete applications will be disqualified.

Evaluation and Judging Process

Applications are reviewed and assessed according to the evaluation criteria defined in the official guidelines.

Independent assessors and judges appointed by the SKEA Office will review submissions.

The evaluation process is confidential, and all decisions of the judging panels are final and not subject to appeal.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, design, and materials available on the SKEA platform are the intellectual property of SKEA and Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce

Users retain ownership of the information and materials they submit but grant SKEA permission to use such content for evaluation, publication (where applicable), and archival purposes.

Unauthorized use, reproduction, or modification of platform materials is strictly prohibited.

Data Protection & Privacy

The collection and use of personal and organizational data through the platform are governed by the SKEA Privacy Policy.

SKEA is committed to protecting user information in accordance with UAE Federal Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection and the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority standards.

Communication & Notifications

SKEA may contact users via email, SMS, or through the platform dashboard regarding updates, submissions, or official notices.

All official communication from users must be directed through the platform’s Contact Form (if the platform will have this) or official SKEA email

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

SKEA is not responsible for: Technical issues arising from user hardware, software, or connectivity, loss of data resulting from user error or system misuse, and third-party content or links accessed through the platform.

SKEA and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages resulting from the use of the platform.

Suspension and Termination of Access

SKEA reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any user account in case of: Breach of these Terms and Conditions, provision of false or misleading information, and misuse of the platform or attempt to compromise its security.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

SKEA reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.

Acceptance of Terms

By using this platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
